Laid-Back Challenge Day 2: Silver

Welcome back to Crumpet's Nail Tarts Laid-Back Challenge Day 2: Silver!

As soon as I saw the theme for today was silver, I knew immediately that I wanted to use a silver holographic polish! For this one I used two coats of  Color Club Harp On It, and used Bundle Monster plate BM-312 and Konad special black stamping polish for the cloud images.

I rarely wear linear holo polishes, but this one absolutely blew me away! Check out that double rainbow!

Next up for this challenge is gold!
Til next time!

  2. Hi Kara,

I loved your mani! I have a question concerning the Bundle Monster plates, I've heard many reviews that they are hard to use..Is it true? Do you have any tricks? I would like to buy them but I'm hesitant on getting something I won't be able to use. I've never done stamping but I would love love to get started. I'm planning to invest on MASH plates as well.

    1. Hi Zachy,
I have two sets of Bundle Monster plates, and I love them. I have honestly never had a problem stamping with them myself, but they weren't my first plates. If you're worried about it, maybe invest in one or two Konad plates to play around with until you get the technique down - that's what I did.
My best advice is to find a good scraper. I don't use the metal scrapers, I use an old gift card, but the one I'm using now is the third card I tried. They are not all the same, some work better than others. I've found that when people have trouble picking up the images they blame the plates or the stamper when usually the plates and stamper are fine - it's the scraper that is the problem.
Good luck in your stamping! Feel free to post pics of your work on my Facebook page if you feel like sharing :)

  3. I really love this Kara! You did an awesome job with the stamping, and that stamp design works so well with the holo :D I think I may need to get Harp On It :) *adds it to the wishlist*
